LAGOS — The 14th President of Coker Building Materials and Allied Products Dealers, Hon. Ikechukwu Ikeh (Ozor Ugwudiogba), alongside members of his Executive Council, held a media chat with Dream Newslink, where they discussed the association’s leadership, challenges, achievements and plans for the future.

During the interactive session, the President spoke on the responsibilities attached to leading one of the major business communities in the building materials sector. He emphasised the importance of unity, peace, discipline and cooperation among traders and stakeholders.
Hon. Ikeh also highlighted the need for government and relevant authorities to pay greater attention to infrastructure around the market, particularly roads and other facilities that directly affect the daily activities of traders and customers.

According to him, a conducive business environment is essential for traders to operate effectively, attract customers and contribute meaningfully to the economy.
Members of the Executive Council who joined the media engagement also shared their perspectives on the administration’s programmes and their commitment to supporting the President in achieving his vision for the association.

The Excos stressed the importance of collective responsibility, noting that the progress of the association depends on the cooperation of its leadership, members, government agencies and other stakeholders.
The media chat also provided an opportunity for the association’s leadership to address issues affecting traders, including infrastructure, security, business development, unity among members and improved relations with relevant government authorities.

The President assured members that his administration would continue to pursue initiatives aimed at strengthening the association and improving the welfare and business environment of its members.
The interactive session ended with a renewed call for unity and partnership, as the leadership expressed confidence that through collective efforts, Coker Building Materials and Allied Products Dealers can achieve greater growth and development.
