LAGOS, AUGUST 10, 2026 — The G36 Women Movement for Tinubu and Hamzat 2027 has reaffirmed its loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its commitment to strengthening women-led grassroots mobilisation across Lagos State.
The Movement stated this during a courtesy and solidarity visit to Hon. Alhaja Iyabosola Rofiat Eletu, APC Lagos State Women Leader, at the APC State Secretariat, Acme, Lagos.
The delegation comprised G36 Women Movement LGA/LCDA Coordinators across Lagos State, ably led by the State Coordinator, Hon. Olubunmi Owolabi (Reemast).
The Movement commended the State Women Leader for her leadership and commitment to women’s political participation while acknowledging her support in the appointment of Hon. Olubunmi Owolabi (Reemast) as Deputy Director, Tinubu Touch Bearers (TTB), Lagos State, with the support and directive of Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
Hon. Alhaja Iyabosola Rofiat Eletu appreciated the G36 Women Movement for its solidarity and continued support for the APC. She commended the coordinators for their dedication and grassroots mobilisation, urging them to remain united, disciplined, and committed to the party.
The Movement reaffirmed its steadfast support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC Lagos State Governorship Candidate, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, and the leadership of the APC in Lagos State, pledging sustained grassroots mbilisation towards the success of the party.
The delegation also presented a souvenir to the State Women Leader as a gesture of appreciation and solidarity.
The visit concluded with a renewed commitment to unity, loyalty, grassroots mobilisation, and greater women’s participation in political leadership.
