The Electoral Chairman of Alaba International Market (IMAE), Electronics Section, Lagos, has called on all eligible members and stakeholders to support a peaceful, transparent and credible electoral process ahead of the election scheduled to hold on October 3, 2026.
Speaking during an interview, the Electoral Chairman emphasized the importance of conducting the election in an atmosphere of fairness, openness and respect for the rules guiding the process.
He urged all candidates and their supporters to conduct themselves peacefully and allow members to freely exercise their right to vote without intimidation or undue influence.
According to him, the electoral committee is committed to ensuring that every eligible voter is given a fair opportunity to participate, while the votes of members are properly protected and counted.
He also appealed to all stakeholders to put the interest and unity of the Alaba International Market Electronics Section above personal interests, stressing that a credible election would help strengthen confidence and promote the continued development of the market.
The October 3 election is expected to bring together members of the Electronics Section as they exercise their voting rights to elect their representatives.
