Greg AmArube (Dino) Unveils Divine Mandate for Anambra South Senate Bid
As political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, Comrade Greg AmArube, popularly known as Dino, has declared his intention to contest for the Senate seat representing Anambra South Senatorial District under the platform of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).
Campaign materials promoting the aspirant describe his ambition as a “Divine Mandate”, with a call on the people of Anambra South to support his vision of building a greater and more prosperous senatorial district.
According to the campaign message, AmArube is seeking to provide quality representation and accountability, while prioritising youth empowerment and job creation, improved infrastructure and road networks, stronger security and community safety, quality education and skills development, better healthcare, and support for agriculture and small businesses.
The campaign identifies Anambra South Senatorial District as comprising seven Local Government Areas: Aguata, Ihiala, Nnewi North, Nnewi South, Ekwusigo, Orumba North and Orumba South.
With the slogan “People First, Progress Always,” the campaign emphasises experience, capacity, compassion and results as key qualities the candidate says he would bring to the Senate.
Amarube’s message is centred on the belief that effective representation should translate into tangible development for the people, particularly through economic opportunities for young people, improved infrastructure, human capital development and stronger support for local businesses.
As the 2027 political season approaches, the Senate aspirant is expected to engage stakeholders, community leaders, youths and other residents across the seven LGAs as he seeks to build support for his candidacy.
The campaign concludes with the message: “Divine Mandate, People’s Choice,” reflecting the candidate’s appeal for the people of Anambra South to join him in pursuing what he describes as a new chapter of purposeful representation and development.
